Hold your horses, still 21 races and 5 Sprint events ahead this season.

Remember Verstappen during season 2022 (WDC P1 at the end with 454 points - WDC P2 [LEC] had 308 points):

• GP #1 (Bahrain): no pole + DNF = 0 points;
• GP #2 (Jeddah): no pole + P1 = 25 points;
• GP #3 (Melbourne): no pole + DNF = 0 points.

With LEW's 'ambassador' title I could see this coming, going his own way is the best thing for Charlie without getting involved much in the power grab struggle.

Yes, with Lewis deal being almost half a billion dollar involved (if I have my numbers correct) for basically 2 years of driving and 10 years of using his name as branding (and probably the occasional press appearance), no matter what LEC does or says, if push comes to shove Lewis will get the preferred treatment. Ferrari is gonna protect their investment.
The only thing LEC can do, is to perform better on the track to prove his way.
