FWIW I tried on the Lunar 3 today. The ratio between the heel cup and toe box seemed on the tight side of true sizing and the toe box felt a tad confining in a way that modestly compromised comfort IMO. I understand the difference from traditional upper materials so I'm not sure what might happen over time re. break-in etc., but I moved on to the Free 4.0 and it felt slightly roomier in the toe box and forefoot. Not sure if that was my imagination, a normal variance resulting in a manufacturing difference specific to that pair of shoes, or actually a slightly different spec in internal volume but it felt better.

[QUOTE=EstorilM]Just picked these up. Gel Nimbus 17. Gonna try and get into running.
Nice... I tend to over pronate so I'm a kayano... The 21 and 22 don't feel as good as my 20's, so I went and found another pair of the 20's... Still like my flyknit lunar 3's so snagged another pair of those as well... I tend to tear through sneakers pretty quick... * If pics could load, that would be great... =/ Last edited by shoei; 12-22-2015 at 01:02 AM.. |

According to my wife, I wanted to be a douche bag yesterday while I was wearing these. She got them for me like 8-9 years ago and I have worn them like 4-5 times.

If I'm not wearing dress shoes for work my go to kicks are the Docs.
Or just some knock around shoes.

I was walking the Ave. and popped into a Louboutin store a few days ago, and was totally underwhelmed from the design standpoint. Lots of "mini-studded" shoes that for one reason or another just didn't jump out at me. The funny thing is, when I pick up a woman's shoe I basically place it on an open palm and hold it up at eye level. I must have looked even more serious than the eight or so women shopping in there because when I left I was getting sincere thanks from store personnel and even the security guard for coming in. I forget just how light women's shoes are...amazing.

Springtime acquisitions! I saw this first pair on Instagram and even though the poster would not give the name, after some due diligence, I located and ordered them! But it took a couple of days to identify. I actually ordered a similar pair first just in case. So now I have the 2 pairs. Which do you guys prefer? And why? Or about the same, if this is your 'style'.
FYI, my wife likes them both and she's a pretty fashionable lady. So that's a plus! Trying to decide if I want to keep em both or just one... |

Wore these today:
I also picked Stan Smiths up this weekend- went into Foot Action wanting to buy Adidas Superstars but left with the Stan Smiths instead.

The sole is what "makes these shoes" for me! I have plenty of leather sole Oxfords and Wingtip style. These are super fresh with jeans but are very complementing with slacks or a suit. This particular color: honey, caramel, saddle, etc, is one of two of my favorite colors for anything! *edit* the reason I really love the first ones is the "burnished cap, sides and back". Adds so much character. |
