The Retired folks thread

66 and still working. I can afford to retire but....

1. Make descent money.
2. Kind of like my job.
3. Not to stressful.
4. No more traveling. I used to travel ALOT. Told the boss no more.. let the younger folks that want to do it.
5. Get 6 weeks vacation. Plus I "buy" a week. Plus 13 holidays. So right now I have the amount of time off needed for my hobbies.
6. Flexible hours. Usually log in at 6 am and an done by 3 ish.
7. The big one.. Work from home.

But.. I dont see "the good" things changing.. One day I just need to pick a date and retire.. Otherwise I'll be working into my 70's.

sure did, but they only accepted my active time...wouldn't convert my active NG time
