Yes the "crystal" is plastic. But it's a part of the watch ... I don't mind a scratch or two (and it's more "scuffs" not deep scratches).

That being said... I wouldn't use these as tools watches and bang them around. It's a plastic mold...

I wore mine at the airport and one of the security agents said he had bought a moonswatch but it "felt cheap on the wrist" so he returned it. Then he explained that he collected vintage Panerai's and Hublot's which explains the feeling. I left that conversation wondering what he was expecting from a plastic case watch?

I bought a Mission to Mars last year in Amsterdam, Swatch Store, just coincidence.

There were just 5 left and I found the MtM the nicest.
Compared to my 3861 Speedy and my 105.012-65 it just sucks heavily lol. But hey what can you expect! I just keep it in the box, the missus wore it once and she didn't like it either. Sorry.

Haha… I just got my brother a Mission to Mercury watch to go with his Speedy for his birthday

Definitely feels and looks like a toy compared to the real thing, but he loves it and plans to swap it out with a rubber band to preserve the strap. Definitely a far better collab than the Blancpain imo.

I’m planning on an actual Speedmaster by the end of the year and just bought a Mission to the Moon. I recently bought a TAG Aquaracer Chronograph and thought the Moonswatch would be fun.

Finally got my Neptune on a recent trip to NY. My girlfriend picked up Pluto and also has Venus.

Now I'm still on the hunt for the Earthphase!

Swatch now sells replacement straps for the Moonswatches. While the OG Velcro ones fit me fine, this are a HUGE improvement in flexibility and comfort!

ALSO, I did not know this before I purchased my Earthphase, but there are actually three different models each with a different view of “earth” : (1) Americas, (2) Europe and Africa, and (3) Asia.

I ended up getting the Americas model (purchased in Los Angeles), although it is completely random (know someone who bought in Japan and got Europe).

You can see North and much of South America here.

None of the newer one-offs have inspired me though, so I'm likely done.

What do you think of the Blancpain collection? Those are nice too, and automatics

I like it!

They are a bit thick on the wrist, but extremely light due to bio-ceramic. The sistem51 movement is very cool and helps keep the price down.

Personally, I got one because I love the color scheme and for collection-sake, but I likely won’t get another.

Also, if this is going to be your daily automatic watch or only automatic, I’d look at a nice Seiko 5 sports or Tissot for a similar price!
