Throttle modulation is huge on traction I've found with almost any power-plant after 300 RWHP and light weight chassis. Exponential of course, above that. Man I wish I could get some strength advise from BMW engineers that know about the alloy S.I block and sleeves. I would begin a system for my coupe. There just does not seem to be any real facts that I've found yet. Are you planning on adding flares and wide wheels to this car ? I have a Datsun 240-Z that's receiving a RB26DETT from a Skyline R34 cammed by HKS right at your same HP goals. I'll be flaring to hold the 13" wide rears with sticky meats. |

Enjoy! I'm just finishing up a materials list for your car, and our recommendation on hardware choice front to back. Of course anything can be changed to your liking once we get the ball rolling. Please keep in mind this will be your own creation, while similar to Trevor's setup, there's many different ways to do similar things. I follow the idea of each and every setup having it's own unique qualities, meaning you'll never see the same exact setup twice. I have lots of visions once I get rolling with a build like this, not hard at all to take a slightly different path. Typically the second or third time you do something it turns out even better, we're going to have a hard time topping Trevor's build, you ready?

I know the high compression limits it, but I hope 91 or 93 gets you a little further than that! My car makes 564whp on straight 93 octane
You must have ridden in a car we've built, lots of people get giggly afterwards Quote:

Thank you everyone for your comments, they are much appreciated. I put everything I have into these builds and each and every one of your comments make me strive for better and better results! It has been a pleasure working with Trevor and his Z4M and I can't wait to see how she performs! Until then, SMILE, Trevor's car is already and there's still lots of updates to come! |
