I will have a price after the prototype is done and tested. 3-4 weeks until I receive all the custom parts made for this and 2 more weeks after that for building and tests. |

Well, just to make it easier for everyone, you might as well put out all the different pricing for the various 'a la carte' items. Since everyone will be wanting different setups, etc.
Cool man, update us whenever its ready =] |

Looking forward to this product production. Thanks for pushing the envelope and getting things going for our Z4 M's. It is such a small market that we don't see a lot of great options out there.
I just read through the whole thread, and this is going to be one hell of a contrubution to the Z4 community

Will not be as loud as people may expect.
remember the phrase "the best muffler is no muffler"? I changed to the best muffler is a negative muffler. |

The tips are being made out of solid SS on the CNC so it will take a few more days to get it done to specs. but I will post once is done.

I'm happy to tell you guys that the production of our prototype is going along very well,
I ordered a full set of supersprint exhaust system to check what we would be against to and I was very disappointed when I received the system, the welds and the bends looks like was done by a first grade student, honestly is one of the lowest quality systems I ever had in my hands. This makes me even more confident about what our system will be like. We also changed our plans to include a system for a NA cars what for sure will open the market even more. The companies that we are working with are of the best out there. We have already chosen the company that will produce the mufflers, resonators, Tips and collectors for a special part of the system (not the headers). Now we have to choose the company that will make the headers and assy of the system, but we narrow it down to only two companies so should not take long to choose one. We have being on schedule and budget what is good news. The tips will be produced with similar technology of guns silencers what will produce a unique sound. |
