i found the solution i made the side skirt extension wider
the aero skirt is at the bottom flat the side of the aeroskirt has a 10% angle made a wood sheet mold i will use 10 mm ABS sheets for the CNC machine to cut it and paint it in roof collor ( high gloss black ) the side skirt extension not wider than the wheels i think it's not allowed in the netherlands . . .

There are some of the drawings that have been done. Since we are going to make one version for both side skirts, a flat mount piece is the only option for now. The goal is to have a more aggressive look but still follow the body lines. To strengthen the extension and have a more 3D look, these will be about half an inch thick.
V1 version (this can still be tweaked based on YOUR input) OE Skirt Aero Skirt and Z06 Style version OE Skirt Aero Skirt Comments welcome!!!

That isn't that much different from what I have already, and what a lot of other guys have.
Not worth swapping without a different look IMO. The pic in post 24 is a different look...........Even if you do need to do 2 molds.

Having a hard time deciding which I like better... I think I am leaning towards the Z06 style. Any idea on production times?

I vote for the post #24 style still since personally I do not fancy anything that sticks out laterally more than that as it will not be as clean looking.
However I understand its going to be difficult to satisfy everyone's tastes with a single design. I myself am looking for a more OE/clean look which enhances the lines of the body in opposed to a more aggressive "add-on" bodykit look. |

That's 4 votes for the Z06 and 1 vote for V1 design. Keep the comments coming. I'll try to get the design finished and ready to go before end of June.

The design that Jordan made is actually reverse than the skirt on the Z06. The last 1/4 length is tucked in - Jordan has it out.
I am not sure I dig it as much. |

Got myself a side skirt for the track lol.
For me honestly a flat piece looks better than those curved skirt extension but that's my opinion lol Unfortunately I didn't know the middle of our skirt sticks out so much so my extension looks small. I am selling if anyone wants since I'm getting another one 2" wider. It was laser cut so the shape of it it's perfect to OEM skirt

I like the Z06 style on the Aero Skirts. On the Non-aero skirts however it looks a little bit too aggressive in my oppinion and therefore somewhat out of place I imagine.
I have the OE skirts on my car so I would go for the V1 version. |

Somewhere on the e46 forums I believe somebody purchased a universal fit carbon piece and was able to modify it to fit the car which was fairly inexpensive to do. It looks like the flat piece, I feel if this is to be done it should be unique to anything else out there, just like our last skyer spoiler gb

One thing to keep in mind on the Z06 skirt design, I've read the Z06 has that kink on the back half of the skirt primarily because that's where you exit the car, so that kink in avoids it from being kicked and scuffed all the time.
The current design as it stands, appears to potentially interfere with entry/egress. May want to keep an eye on that.
