we'll see what pricing is like. If it is a reasonable price, I'll seriously consider it

Thanks for the info gents...
Option one would be to buy them from DKF now or option 2 is to stick with my plan and butcher them until the fit and save $800 - which I need for my tune |

Order some Aero AR20 (2) http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.c...2%22%2C/Detail Some V-band clamps (3, an extra just for the flanges; 2.25 inch) http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.c...2C-V%2C/Detail 3 hole flanges (2 for connecting to the X-pipe, 2.25 inch) http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.c...-Flange/Detail And since my whole state doesn't have a mandrel bender; some SS 45 degree 2.25 inch mandrel bent piping for the bends http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.c...C-SS%2C/Detail I'm going to put some v-band clamps in place of the factory welds to make the section into two seperate pieces (cats removable at clamps). Then I'll put some AR20s with 3 hole flanges in place of the factory cats along with the correct bends to connect them to the v-band clamps. Basically making removable resonators/cats. EDIT: All parts ordered; should have it together in a couple weeks.

In case anyone is interested in another option, I'm going to be working with Jack from Custom Performance Innovations in the next few weeks on a midpipe. My plan is to incorporate 200 cell cats and probably AR20s. I'm told cost will be sub-$1k, it's similar to a midpipe he makes for E46 M3s already. In the next few days I hope to get the car up in the air and take some measurements for him. If I have to, I'll pull the pipe out entirely and run it up to his shop, he's about 1h15min from me. If anybody is interested in waiting to see what we come up with, I think the plan, from my very preliminary communication with him, is that he will have a jig as a result of this so he can make more in the future that are Z4M specific.
FYI

Yes, but I'm supplying the EGT bung and I believe Jack would be sourcing the O2 bungs.
I was planning on at least getting some measurements this past weekend, let me just say that with a frickin GI virus, it's hard to accomplish much - didn't see that coming, not cool
