I’ve seen this one a few times and liked it very much even though it got bad reviews.

Thought Sofia Boutella was great as The Mummy and also liked Russell Crowe as Jeckyll/Hyde.

For my horror fans...

Watch this on a larger screen or monitor for more creepy details. Shit looks quite unsettling. The director has quickly gone up the ranks of horror. I'm gonna watch it this weekend...

Creature horror... Does anyone remember a movie called The Descent? This reminds me of that.

The movies I saw from this director were Blackcoat’s Daughter, which I liked, and Longlegs, which I thought was awful. Let us know what you think.

I've been telling my kids that the original Psycho was the scariest movie of all time. No need for special effects as the movie pretty much takes place in the viewers head! I'm pretty sure the brain can conjure-up much scarier "visuals" than can be manufactured on the screen.

Saw The Descent and liked it. Very claustrophobic.

Hope this new one is good. 👍

The Lavender Hill Mob with Alec Guinness. And a blink and you’ll miss her Audrey Hepburn.

I kinda feel the same with Blair Witch Project. I remember I watched it on some crappy bootleg vcd to add to the raw feel. Shortly afterwards, I had to close the office one late night and recall having to go down the building stairs all by myself and feeling like I wasn't alone haha. Psychological for sure.

Weapons was great; saw it twice. Amy Madigan won an Academy Award. She deserved it.

Regarding the old lady in Weapons. The producers have confirmed a Origin Stories spinoff with her. 😲

That should be good. Will be interesting to learn how her ‘weapon’ was created.
