Hello everyone! Finally decided to join in after months of roaming and drooling over everyone’s awesome cars. I have never own a BMW, or by that means a Z4. I did get the opportunity to test drive a Z4MC, and I couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the day…. ok maybe for the rest of the week….lol…so maybe I have found the solution for eternal happiness…(I know it’s just a car, but still).
Hopefully in the next couple of month I’ll be able to find me a nice 3.0si coupe I can put my hands on….I would love to own a M coupe, but since I haven’t passed the magical “25”, the insurance will kill me…plus the 3.0si will have plenty of power, since I’ll be moving up from a Focus (yes….i know….lol). Anyways, hope to learn from everyone here…..thanks!!! |

Hi guys,
I sold my 02 M3 week before last and picked up my new car.....a 06 M roadster with 13,500 miles. Black sapphire, with extended black leather, navi, etc. I am still super excited over getting it. I kindof feel bad for it though because it is pretty much flawless and it is my daily driver 50 miles a day round trip. |

New to ZPOST
Hello from Germany. I'm a 6 time BMW owner 3 of which have been M cars. Z3 M Roadster, E46 M3 and now I drive a US Spec 2007 Z4 M Roadster. Current upgrades are Eisenmann Race Exhaust and RPI Ram Air Intake. I'm currently talking with Roman about ESS tuning. I'm here looking for some information and tips on upgrading my car. I guess the first question is: Headers, euro headers or something aftermarket (Super Sprint)? I'm interested in your opinions.

Well, a very hearty welcome to all my fellow newbies then.
I'm too new here (obviously) and i hail from the sunny island of Cyprus. I had my heart set on a Z4 M for quite some time now and finally bit the bullet and flew to the UK in February and put my money where my mouth is and bought a BMW Approved Used Z4MC in Silver Grey with Imola Red leather. My timing turned to be perfect as M prices where at their lowest and the GBP/EUR exchange rate was very, very favorable. Overall i got a bargain for Cyprus standards, ridiculous registration/import taxes and all. I'm also a member over at www.z4-forum.com where im slightly more active but i thought i'd branch out a bit so here i am. I'll see you all later! Pics: Last edited by ga41; 06-03-2009 at 02:48 AM.. Hello! Just purchased a 2007 Z4 M Coupe from the original owner -- interlagos blue with the extended sepang interior. Absolutely a fantastic beast that I plan on taking to some driving events over the next few years.

Hello!
I recently purchased an '06 3.0Si, Silver Gray, gray top, black interior, 6MT. My name is from my 3 Series, which I still have (yes, I am lucky). The Z4 replaces my S2000 with which my wife had difficulty on ingress/egress. After the S, the low-end torque is nothing short of amazing. I have used the forum to determine the location of the TCU, since my car did not have the Bluetooth PIN anywhere; now have to dig through the trunk this weekend. Dave

Black Sapphire from the Swiss Alps
This is my first post, although I have been lurking around the forum for quite some time now...
I previously owned a Z4 2.5 for just over a month, before a nail in the RFTs sent me and my mate crashing on the Swiss Autoroutes It was a close shave, we ended up facing the oncoming traffic and a merc stopped inches from my door Its been a year now and finally I have received the insurance payout and cleared my name of any wrong doing after taking the Swiss Police dept to the courts[ Was charged for rash and negligent driving for doing 90Kmph on a 120 kmph autoroute on a rainy day !! :x So when for the past three months, I have been trying to find the car with the specs I was looking for, and I finally found the one that matched them the closest 2006 CPO Z4 3.0si 50K KMs Sapphire Black with beige interiors, Navigation, Xenons, Carver System, 6 CD Changer, M Seats, M Steering Wheel, M Suspension, M Wheels, PDC, Electric Folding Mirrors, Wood Trim [ Preferred the Aluminium ones ], Non RFT tires I ended up shelling out almost twice as much as I paid for my 03 2.5i but I was lucky to take over the leasing from the previous owner, which made the deal worthwhile. After months of reading a zillion posts, I have short isted the following mods, that i would like to have: I have provided links to them in case others like me are interested M6 Wheels Decided on the 18 in Miro ones with 12 mm Spacers from **********s No lowering since the M suspension is 1.5 inches lower Eisenmann Sports Exhaust Helene Air Filter CDV Delete - Roque Roque Engineering Short Shifter M Grill [ Black fins with chrome tips ] AUX IN DIY IPOD Connector Stubby Antenna BMW Mobility Kit BMW Tow Cable BMW Jack Kit BMW Battery Charger [ Winter Storage ] CF BMW Roundels CF Handbrake holder CF Footpedals CF Trim to get rid of the wood trim Xenon interior lighting Roadster Solutions Windblocker Roadster Solutions Trunk Storage Roadster Solutions Cargo Organiser Zaino Helpful Links: http://www.**********s.com/product.a...iro_Type_346_2 http://www.zeckhausen.com/CDV.htm%20rogue%20engineering http://www.roadstersolutions.com http://www.bavauto.com/ http://www.ebay.com http://www.zainostore.com/ http://leatherz.com/Merchant5/mercha...4_transmission http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.p...914&s_p=Reifen http://www.tirerack.com http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...43&hg=36&fg=15 http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_sp...%20NT05%20Rear I would like to thank the forum for the priceless info available to newbies like me, I hope to be a regular here and to contribute my experiences with the Z, its going to be 2 long painful weeks before I get my Z, and after that |

Beautiful car, man. Don't worry too much about the wife - mine loves the car almost as much as I do since she gets to drive it (sometimes)...

Hi there
Hello all,
I've already said hello here in the UK forum so I wont repeat myself too much but I just picked up my first BMW this morning, a 2003 Z4 3.0i SE Roadster, and I love it. Will return with some pictures after I've given her a good waxing etc, if I can stop myself from driving for long enough! So hello, I'm Tim from York (UK) |

Hello - from South Africa
Hi guys (and girls)
Just browsing around and found this site - had a '99 Z3 M Coupe, sold it, was sorry about it for about about 9 years, then bought a '08 Z4 M Coupe. Planning to keep this one, mostly parked in the garage and used on weekends only! (The M's in RSA - both the Z3 and Z4 have a bit more power/torque than in the US..) Cheers |

Checking in and saying "Hello"
Well, I sort of inherited my dad's 2006 3.0i. My mom wanted to keep it in the family since it was the last car he bought and he was so proud of it. So basically I bought it for my mom from my mom.
The first time I drove the Z, I wasn't impressed. Mainly cause it was city driving. But since I've driven it on the open roads and back country, I now understand why they call it the ultimate driving machine. Thanks for the forum, I've already learned a lot and hope to learn more. Dino |

Hey Ya
Hey People. Another Z4M Coupe driver holding it down in Central Oregon. We have some amazing roads out here in the high desert. Look me up if you are in the Bend, Redmond, Madras area and want to go for a drive. Two wheels are welcome too. My other ride is a KTM Superduke. Cheers.
