No problem. Just let me know when you are coming down and would like to see the car. I live in downtown Miami. Right across the street from the Miami Arena.

S54s run forever... nobody should be worried about maintenance or longevity with this engine. Especially since its clearly enthusiast owned by what (if the cost of the wheels is any indication) appears to be a no-expenses-spared type of owner.
I know of quite a few 200k+ S54 owners, there are plenty of them out there. Check out forums with lots of E46 M3 or Z3M guys and they will have lots of info for you. Particularly the S54 Z3M roadster guys seem to pile on the miles. I expect Z4 M roadster guys do the same, but the Z3 guys had a few years head start When you BUY an S54 at such high miles its critical to get maintenance records. Maintenance for 50k-100k can be crucial. But at the low miles this car has, there really is not a huge risk of failed maintenance. Really at this mileage anything the previous owner missed or failed to do, you can do before it becomes a problem. Then it is up to YOU to keep records as the engine gets on in mileage. Buying an S54 at this mileage is a VERY safe bet. It should have had one valve adjustment done and be just getting ready for its next one (Every 30K). Will also be needing spark plugs soon (60K) Trust me, at this mileage, the S54 is just getting broken in (seriously lol) Maintenance checklist for Z4 E85 |
