Short answer, nope Ive switched out the OEM pads (front) to the axxis pads (Just ordered rear set, was waiting for new rotors) you can go almost 2 weeks with clean wheels, and when they get dirty you can pretty-much spray on the wheel cleaner and hose it off. Performance wise there equal to the OEM and easy on the rotors |

They're torqued incorrectly. You should re-torque the lug nuts to 88lbs-ft of torque.

I'd rather have brake dust to clean off than an annoying squeak every time I come to a red light. Especially when you have the top down. |

I really don't find brake dust a problem at all.
I've had others that were a LOT worse. I go a week between cleanings & they still don't look bad at that point. I use PB wheel sealant, which I think also helps.

Axxis Ultimate pads noisy??? Those are quiet pads. Get some nice track pads like Pagid Orange if you want to experience some brake squeal - scare all your neighbors kids and pets every time you come home. You will never have to worry about folks failing to notice your car when you pull up to intersections and most of the Kenworth drivers will feel envy over your obviously superior brakes.

I was a little hesitate at first, but its one of those things where you say why did i wait so long to do. I also gave the rims a good cleaning while i had them off the car, and the car looks even better since the entire inside of the rim stays clean now (instead of the outside clean and the inside black with brake dust). Brake dust isn't bad when the weather is nice and you can clean often, but in the colder months when you can't clean them as often the brake dust can build-up to the point that you can't get them100% clean again. Keeping two cars clean is work for me this just makes it a bit easier, works for me:rocks: |

most brake pads will squeak initially. when the pads wear to the rotors the squeak should dissapear. my ceramic brake pads took about a month to break in since its a harder compound than organic pads.
i cant remeber the exact brand but they came in a box with a picture of a orangeish toyota supra. purchased at advanced auto parts. |

1) get Axxis Deluxe pads 2) when wheel is removed to change brake pads, clean and Zaino the inner portion of the rim. Do the outside after it has been remounted. 3) clean as required 4) remove rim every 3-5 months(?) to thoroughly clean inner rim.
