Start is going to be crucial on this race, as well as pit stop stragegy; it's almost impossible to overtake SAFELY with 1/10th lap differences and practically no runoff space. I foresee a lot of DNFs. The perfect race for me would be MW and LH DNFing (or beyond 10th), and SV, JB and FA on the podium (in that order) . That'd bring all of them within 7 points of each other with 4 races to go . We'll see tomorrow.

the beginning of the race (up to the second safety car) was average boring...not too much actions, until the second safety car returned to the pit....all hell broke loose!!!

Kovi's Lotus on fire was funny tho, he was just cruise to the pit straight...calmly walk away...and ask for a fire extinguisher....and put out the fire like his backyard bonfire!!!

ALONSO!! was awesome today!
Webber should have gotten a penalty! Sutil got a penalty so the standings were shuffled a little bit |

That was crap indeed. LH had officially 'cleared' him, meaning he was well ahead of MW, and MW was fully aware LH was in front, and could (and should) have yielded, especially in such a hard track to overtake. There were plenty of passes closer than that, and the passed drivers yielded. That wasn't an unbiased call. Somebody needs to take him out next race . |

I don't agree. If you're going to go around the outside of someone in a turn, you need to leave them room. From Webber's on-board camera you could see Hamilton cut across his front and take away any room. If that had been Webber trying to come up the inside and he hit Hamilton, then I'd place the blame on him. But Hamilton was the one initiating the overtaking, so he needs to make sure he can pull it off without relying on the other driver to give way.
In any case, a racing incident. I'm sick to death of stewards changing race results by penalizing every contact incident. Kudos to Danny Sullivan for not interfering on this one.
