I think Lawson will qualify higher than Yuki and will beat him in the race. Psychologically he won’t be nervous, he will have something to prove, knows the track well and will be in a better car.

I feel bad for Yuki. I guess he couldn’t say no though.

This is of course barring a miraculous change in the 2nd Red Bull car but I don’t think that will be very likely.

Wow, happened faster than I thought. I'm super interested to see if Lawson does better than Yuki in the "slower" car in Japan. If so, RB is going to start taking some serious heat for making their cars completely for one driver at the expense of everyone else (no matter how great Max might be!).

apparently Honda pays 10 mil for Yuki to drive at VCarb, that they offered another 10 mil for Yuki to get the RB seat but was turned down. makes sense why Yuki thought he was going to get it.

but apparently RB went back to Honda and said have you still got the 10 mil? Honda said yes but we want Yuki in the RB in Suzuka and RB said yes.
