I agree. The CS releases are becoming too predictable. There is not enough to differentiate the higher CS trim from the lower trims.

If it helps save time, we could simply cut and paste a lot of the original posts about the M3 CS into this thread…… 😈

In the M4 CS press release it says "Track tires are a no cost option as are ultra-track tires, specifically engineered to maximize performance on a circuit." I would assume the standard tires are Michelin Sport 4S, the track tires are Sport Cup 2's, and the ultra-track are the Sport Cup 2R's which were never an option on the M3 CS. |

I like it, but Riveira blue for me please. This green one looks like a Christmas tree.
I wonder if these will all be leased like the F82 CS. There was no stomach for the sticker price on those cars, but I'm interested to see what happens with these. I like my CS so much better than my prior three F8x cars, I bet BMW will make this one special too. I'm just wondering if people will pay the price? |

That’s the prototype car. It’s the dark red one they had out there when testing the CSL at the same time. It’s not even the new big screen interior… this was like a 22 M4 outfitted with CSL stuff during development. Lol

Okay, but that car has iDrive 7...or I'm seeing things. Had to double check the vent locations to confirm.

From the numbers we've seen it appears every trim level gets about a 5 second bump and then within the trims the M4 is about 1 second ahead of the M3. Further within the comp trims the xdrive is about 1 sec ahead of the rear drive. I wonder if BMW paid Porsche a consulting fee to come and help them work out the engineering necessary to get the Nurburgring times to fit so nicely in order.

Someone's going to get it in the marketing department for approving the photos without the CSL strut brace. Elsewhere on the BMW site the strut brace is there (with the paint in Riviera Blue)
Scroll to the M4 CS section for more photos https://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/m-se...html#bmw-m4-cs https://bmw.scene7.com/is/image/BMW/...=2560&hei=1707 |
