Anybody try using this:

https://a.co/d/cqYxn78

I'm kinda looking for something a bit more affordable to maintain the matte finish.

I did the same thing clean it and then apply ceramic from gyeon. U can then use mild leather cleaner without it removing ceramic coat. If u use more heavy duty leather cleaners it will remove coating. Not big deal but just be aware so u not wasting time applying it and then removing during cleaning.
Do you think a cleaner like this:

https://a.co/d/8qHMygS

Would do a similar job to the Gyeon? Any experience with Chemical Guys products?

Yes, and they’re fine for the money. As with most cleaning products, better for you to dilute it by at least 50% in a separate bottle… you’re likely not cleaning the level of grime they are displaying. - IDA certified detailer

I don’t agree Chemical Guys are not great leather cleaners. They don’t leave satin look. There is a reason why most people in this thread recommended something else. And if u do some searching around on YouTube u will quickly find detailers never use chemical guys.
Just get Gyeon or other products people recommend in this thread like but don’t waste time on Chemical Guys they will not perform as well.

"Known world wide for its ability to soften even cardboard hard leather. It is a complex blend of animal proteins, collagens, with absolutely no oil fillers of any kind. Totally unlike all other leather products, it will not stain or discolor leather. It is perfectly safe for equestrian use! Simply spray or wipe onto the surface and massage into the leather with your hands. Allow for it be absorbed into the fibers. Rejuvenator has a unique capillary action which forces proteins into the leather and dirt out! Repeated use will keep leather in tip top shape. Use to condition and preserve all your leather cars, saddles, tack, furniture, motorcycle leather and even apparel. Prestine Clean is the perfect cleaner to use after each application of Rejuvenator to remove the displaced impurities on the surface of the leather."

Second this on CG. They are an incredible marketing company with a few products that work okay. They are scamming people imo. There are so many tried and true brands out there innovating and putting out amazing products. Don't be lazy and do research. Just because they pop up first on Amazon doesn't mean they are good.

Here's a few reputable brands:

-Mothers
-Griots
-Sonax
-Meguiars
-3D
-Carpro
-Gtechniq
-Gyeon
-P&S

Guy asked for cheap way to clean his leather. $15 products diluted will get it clean. Is it as good as high end products? No. He asked about cheap, though. After sorting through all the pricey recommendations.

Honestly this size bottle will last you for years and multiple cars so its not bad at all. I've tried many other products but keep coming back to this one if you prefer that oem matte look while adding protection too.

Will this product keep the leather's matte finish though? Or make it shiny/glossy?

Amazing product that’s overkill for routine use.

Pristine Clean will. But it’s not much different than Leather Masters or Colourlock miles cleaner.

The Rejuvinator oil is the real magic. But it’s more for restoring older leather. It really works though. Amazing stuff.

The only cleaner I trust 100% is Colourlock. They are OEM suppliers of dyes and other leather products to VAG and other German automakers.

Agree. I love it, favorite leather cleaning solution I've ever tried out of dozens. No scent, natural finish, easy to work with, and no lingering residue.

Yup. After our first Cayenne's wheel turned shiny, I've been carefully monitoring the one in the new Cayenne we just picked up last February. I didn't realize that my wife must put on hand lotion because the wheel starts to lose that nice velvety matte finish pretty quickly. So I've been wiping it down every week and a half to two weeks with a damp microfiber and then once a month with the mild cleaner.

Last week she goes "did you treat my steering wheel"? I said, nope, just cleaned it. "man, it feels like brand new", she goes.

Good stuff.

Somehow I found a bottle on Amazon for $21.

I could have sworn that I looked last week and the 500ml bottle was like $42????

Is it just me or is it normally in the $40 range?
