Yes darling, of course the world will survive. It's sort of a tight-knit group of folks. It's just not in me to do that. I'd rather sacrifice the ride. No one has ever done that to me and I would be upset if they did.
I will just keep trying, there's still hope! |

BTW, so far the picnic areas are still available for either day. Fire - hope you can make it along with everyone else. Anybody running a head count yet, kinda curious as to how many people are interested so far. |

I don't think we are going to get a large response either way, and the picnic area is still available. Plenty of time before we decide to call it off/postpone. Wait and see if Fire has made any plans yet, would hate to change it without her knowing in advance.

Yea, not looking good for that date guys . All hope isn't lost and things could change but for right now...
Let's just all keep in touch, there will be more rides. Look at it this way, the hotter it is, the less clothes everyone will wear! |

Was it ever decided to go for the 26th or the 27th?
The 27th is better for me, but I think I can swing either day. I get in from FL friday evening in Savannah...

No, We were kinda holding out for Fire to come with us. But she's not available either of those dates. I believe we had about 2 others interested. But I think if we can push the date out and confirm one actual time. We should have better results.

Well, looks like the 26th it is. Only problem is that the picnic shelters are reserved for that day. It is still possible to do a cookout in the park and a drive in the area. Any other forseeable problems that anyone knows about? If not then I say it is a go!
Cheers! |

Chips and dip should be fine, but hopefully if you bring DIET Sprite, you can also bring non-diet soda. At the entrance should be a good place to meet, or just inside. 11 or 12 would be fine by me to meet up, but may be too early for some. Have to check on distance, but I think it is short hop up to Deal's Gap. Anyone interested in running the Dragon? |

I'm bringing a portable gas grill so all we really need is seating. Or everyone can just bring some foldable chairs and we camp out where ever. We should PM each other cell phone numbers so we can find each other once we arrive. The first post has been editted. So please post up what still needs to be brought.
