How much less is the 525? Since the 500 is $9k and the VF570 is 8100 from VAC...

Air to air is the way to go IMO, beautiful kit. If airbox doesn't come through for us I might have to jump on one of these kits. This much power puts the car in supercar territory.

The new VT2-525 kit uses a different fuel injector, software and oil cooler design than our original 500 kit. Outside of the hardware and software changes we refined the intercooler pipes for simpler installation and fine tuned a few other aspects of the kit.
We have not set an upgrade price for the new 525 kit for current VT1 owners but we will very soon. Current VT2-500 customers I will get you upgrade info. |

Awesome roman :-) looking forward to hearing the price for me to move from 500 to 525 kit......... Seems like the the kit has been refined but basically the same as the 500...... My 500 kit has the grey Bosch injectors btw.......
Patiently waiting to here the damage :-) I'd like a new tune anyway now so... This is my perfect chance to jump in.

Roman any news on the existing 500 owners to get the 525 spec... Boost is the same , so basically it's the new software we need to unlock the additional power....

I just dont understand why does my car with 8psi of boost cannot develop 525 hp with the new tune ?? In other terms why AJ cannot provide the new tune for me, its not like hes tuning it for the second time, this is what i paid for in the first place.
I also have the setrab oil cooler and a 55C thermostat |

Plus, if i'm upgrading in the future, i'm going for built motor VT3-650 something, why bother for 25hp, what's the gain in that, i'd rather spend that in seat time with a professional race driver or maybe fixed bucket seat, brakes, ... the list just goes on and on |

my car runs at the 1 oclock position during all day 30 Deg C track days.... doesnt get hotter than this, recovery times are very quick, as soon you you stop and idle is settles back tot he 12 oclock mark, on cool days the car oil runs TOO cool so ive made a blanking plate to block half of it off, takes 30 seconds to remove and install :-)

We are working on pricing for these upgrade solutions now and I will update soon as they are ready. First to be released will be the full kits followed shortly by the upgrade kits. |
