I keep a flash drive with all of my files. You can put in any correction factor you like if you have the files. SAE is the US standard, but many European countries use DIN (which reads a bit higher). The most important thing is the shape of the graph looks correct for a Vortech. Very nice!

Sorry I dont have the soft copy, only print out and pictures. Next time I'll visit the dyno I will keep a USB drive with me, to collect the files for my records, good idea . The graph looks really smooth and linear, the guys at the dyno were amazed.... and believe me they have seen many cars. Very happy with the result!!! |

id love a detailed review of how your feeling about the car / kit since you've got this on.... I'm always nervous about really recommending something hard as sometimes people end u disappointed so i tried to be honest with you in other areas... so please, take the time to really write something detailed down. That power you made is quite literally nuts... i actually think this is a z4m s/c record in terms of a stock motor and bolt on kit that anyone can buy, your going to need some decent tyres!!! really pleased its gone so well for you up to now anyway

At last today it was the first day after almost a week that streets were dry so I had the chance to push the car. Really its an animal by all means. The best choice I have ever made. I was very skeptical and nervous about going SC but now I wonder what I was waiting for so long. The car drives smoother than stock but when you need power... its endless. Below a short video..... 100-200km (indicatively as no vbox was used) in less than 8 sec with a passenger and 3/4 fuel tank. A clear gain of more than 4 sec from previous set up. Really no words. I currently use Michelin SS relatively new condition but for sure will not last long. The car spins 3rd gear easily!! Thanks for your guidance and help. I have a clear clear mindset of what i want for the car and how i want to go about it.... i want sledgehammer from a nut cracker and i want as clean as possible, the diverted BPV offers me that so thats why i leave it that way, plus imo, any air dumped back into the s/c intake is a good thing on a slow boosting Centrifugal, it certainly can't hurt.

If you have SS V1, I would suspect you have SS section 1 with either straight pipes or race cats already. I have SS V1 on my M Coupe (and installed them myself) so I'm familiar. |

definitely, pokey had a picture of his 100 CELL cats Vs the stock CATs and the CPI difference was HUGE, not to mention the pipe diameter was larger with a race cat that was 1/4 of the size of stock, its got to be a close to going De-cat without going the full hog, but you won't believe how much extra noise they make this the stock cats out.
It surely has to lower EGTs by some way too. Don't forget to look at your spark plugs if they haven't been done recently.
