'07 Z4MC Bought it in November 2012 with 26K on the clock and put it away for the winter. Spring is here and I drive it every day. I have a '01 Dinan Z3 with 86K on it and plan on turning both of them well into the 6 figure category.
Some time ago I read a post that said keeping your car perfect is like not doing your girl friend and saving her for the next guy. That is not a quote but it tells the story. My plan is to turn these over to the next guy who wants a car he can fix. I enjoy driving them way too much to keep them out of traffic or the rain. Enjoy the journey. The destination is way over rated. Greg |

^ if you have the time. my field of work wont allow me to drive a sports car around. and i usually spend evenings around the house or out with the family. to me, that makes the coupe more exciting to drive everytime i do on weekends or out with friends or just my wife. this thread however isnt a debate of how you should use your car.

2006 Z4M - 33k miles - not my daily driver.
Work out of my house or travel so only real time to drive it is on weekends or occasionally after work if I am in town. |

2008 M Coupe - daily driver - 55,000km
It's driven 4 seasons, including Canadian winters, and my 65 lb dog sits in the passenger seat when necessary. It's a car. I use it. |

Agreed. I actually feel guilty when not driving it enough. It's depreciating anyway regardless...mind as well enjoy it. Life is short...use it if you got it as the 'old say goes

2008 3.0si Roadster 23k
I bought this in August of 2011 with 15k. When the weather is nice out, I'll drive it to work. Stored during winters and I avoid driving it in the rain.

It's doing great! Had Inspection I done again last February. Dealership said there was a leak and wanted $2200 to replace the entire oil pan. I had my mechanic checked and he said it was only a little bit by the drain bolt and it's nothing to worry about.

2006 Z4 M Roadster
Purchased new by original owner in August 2007 with 96 miles and traded in to a dealer in June 2012. The original owner had a motorcycle that he rode most of the time. I bought it in July 2012 with 31,800 miles and drove it 525 miles home. Current mileage is 37,149 miles. It's my primary car but I'm currently retired so it's used primarily for errands, autocrossing, and canyon carving.
