wow so with shorter tires, I might be able to fit 255's...interesting indeed!
I think I'm currently using 245/35/19's. That means, I'd need to look for 255/30/19's? Hrmm.....therein lies the issue haha. Will hafta tire shop next time around |

Yep go for the 255/30/19. It is what I am running up front on my street wheels. Fits perfectly. Interestingly I mounted my rear OEM ZCP with a 275/30/19 front tires on the front last weekend and it fit perfectly also. I think I will be changing to run four OEM rear ZCPs in the near future.

I didn't know we could squeeze in so much beef up front! What offset should we run to make 265 or more up front and with how much camber? Also, where do you get the overall diameter info for each tire F360C?

get the turner motorsport shim kit! that will give you more neg camber and you should have more clearance.

I think he's getting them from DTD (DiscountTireDirect).
A set of NT-01s (245/40-18 & 275/35-18) are 907.54 Shipped from there. |

discounttiredirect.com! Well, I'm not a track expert, thus I don't want to go with R888 or NT01 so I won't get used to bad habits. But nonetheless, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Can't wait to mount these tires!

Update: I just got these tires mounted to my apex and they look gorgeous! I have a little problem though... my rear tires (275/35/18 on 18x10 et25) are rubbing on the fender on sharp turns. up front, no rubbing, no nothing with 265/35/18 on 18x9 et42. So what should I do? Should I raise my car or should I roll my fenders?

I'm not sure if someone with stock springs would rub... with the drop my car sits at -2 degrees camber... I was thinking of adding the shim kit from Turner to go -3 degrees, but I would have to run spacers to avoid touching the strut tower.

I put my wheels on today.
18x9 +42 with a 245/40/18 NT01 , I've got a BBK which clears no problem, but am running 4 degrees of camber, so I had to add a 12mm spacer to clear the inside of the tire away from the strut (TCK Coilovers), appears to be no rubbing now. These tires have a wide contact patch for sure. 18x10 with a 275/35/18 NT01, absolutely no issues, car sits very nice all the way around. Can't wait to get out on the track tomorrow and see if I can make good use of the extra grip (was at the limits of the NT05, especially in Advanced Solo where I'm chasing people on R6's and blues trying to fend off the red myst).

245/40/18 and 275/35/18 are NT01 working great for me at the track this weekend. Running a 12MM spacer up front to clear the shock with 4 degrees of camber (could likely get away with less spacer but didn't have anything hubcentric available smaller). Rear 275/35/18 are rubbing just slightly on the inner fender, a quick baseball bat roll job should solve this (It's literally just barely shaving the sidewall vertically).
Compare tire specs, I would be less concerned with the size, and more concerned with overall diameter and contact patch, these NT01s are very wide given their specs, and the traction shows.

The NT01s like a lot of camber too IIRC. -4 up front might be a bit much for Star Specs or NT05s I think and -2.5 to -3.0 might be a better setting given those tires, yes? |

I ran -4 up front with the NT05s for 6-8 track days and found they love the extra camber as well (I actually got 12-13k miles + 4 or so track days out of my first set of NT05s running this setup with limited toe) . If you're driving on the street, obviously go less, but for the track, these cars love front camber.

Ran the NT05 today on the track and they performed less than what I expected. The weather was around 90 degrees outside and the tires were greasing up very fast. I guess I'll use them as my street tires and buy Hankook rs3
