295s are possible in the rear. you need the "perfect offset", a tight fender nip and roll. With some rear toe-in, you'll notice the rear portion of the fender where the bumper attaches is the area that needs the most attention. I run R888R 295 (which run wider than most 295), thus I suspect you could fit a 305/30 if you can find one, but do you really need to?

513m fits the non M Z4 perfectly. Not with OE M3/M4 255/40 and 275/40 tire sizes though. Rear was fine but rubbed two holes in the front fender liners on stock suspension. Had to step it down to 245/35 and 265/35 which is the closest to factory diameter as well. Allowed for some coil overs and lowering. First two pictures are with the OE tires and suspension, last two are with stepped down tire sizes and lowered on BC coil-overs.

Love the plate
I feel like you could space out the rear and dial in some camber. |

Hi folks,
I'm new to this thread I had a couple of questions about wheel fitment and coilovers for a 3.0i roadster I'm thinking of ordering Apex ec-7 wheels staggered 18x8.5-et35 front and going 18x9.5-et43 rear while also running a h&r coilover kit maybe drop the car 1.5" at most. I want form and function while not having to mess with rolling fenders or spacers or any of that what do you guys think any suggestions has anyone had any experience with this type of setup I appreciate the knowledge anyone can offer |

Dropped down to 255/40 and less camber. No wear on inside shoulders.

Will anyone(E85/E86 owners) be interested in a complete bolt on kit that will allows the rear axle to achieve the same wheel fitment as the M?
i.e. low offset/wider rear wheels? |

Look like style 433 rims. Those offsets may need a 10mm Rear for flush fit. I had the same offsets and width on my 04 with Konis and ST coils, using 265/35 and 235/40

I have a 3.0si with the m sport suspension. Stock. I have some wheels that are off of a z4m. They are:
Front: 19x8.5 et30 Rear: 19x9.5 et25 From what I gather the et25 for the rear wheels will be the biggest problem? They ran 235/35/19 tires on front and 275/30/19 on rear for their m. I was thinking a 255 or 265 on rear if it's possible? Not sure if it's possible to make it work, hopefully you all have an answer. The car is not my daily driver if that helps. Thanks for your input in advance. All these numbers are messing with my brain right now.. Thanks! Last edited by mjsmith9s; 03-24-2019 at 01:51 PM.. |

If you go 265 rear you’re want to step up to 265/35 which is pretty much same height as 275/30. So it’s really a width issue, 265 vs 275, both of which are too wide for 8.5 imo. Your wheel setup is basically a square width but different offsets. Ideally you’d want to run a 255/30-19 square which would is good for 8.5 and maintains rolling diameter of ~25”. Only issue is 255 up front may rub but I actually think it’ll be fine if you pull the camber pins and dial in some negative camber. For the rears, the offsets aren’t ideal as they’re about 20mm lower than factory but it’s not bad. It’ll sit flush with a more aggressive stance. Plenty of folks have thrown 20mm spacers on back. Alternatively you can step down to a 225/35 in the front without running camber but you won’t get much rim protection on an 8.5 and risk curbing the rims more. Lastly tire choices will impact things too so if you go with an aggressive summer compound you’ll have higher chance of running in rears. All seasons will be less of an issue. Can anyone confirm that style 162 wheels will clear fine on an E85? I mounted the fronts today, and they appeared to protruded far more than the calculated 13mm. I'm concerned about slinging road crap down the side of my newly painted car. The style 202 wheels which came with the car are too bent to be servicable.
