For my wedding I had a playlist of the original songs to samples of pac biggie Dre the game etc and it came out pretty cool. Mellow enough for the adults but for friends they all knew the rap it came from ha.

Also got me into oldies.

I think it generally sucks and I prefer the old school stuff. There are some exceptions though, but IMHO the vast majority of musicians from the 80's and 90's and early 2000's were way better than the current musicians.

ok, so this may have been asked, apologize.

I among other things DJ, into OLD skool 70's rap, when it was real.
So I kinda understand a few things

But I don't understand why young guys use the N word to each other,
and when others use it, its racist. ALSO a lot of white derogatory stereotype
slurs such as boy etc

Listen to any public enemy track and you always have a "Yeah Boyeee"

Also a lot of people fought and died during the civil unrest for equality and
presumably so that these kinda slurs are not used.

So am I missing something ?

As an asian I don't run into my mates and say "yo whats up you paki"

and don't get me started why some black kids wear there pants around there A$$ and backwards - ala Kriss Kross
