It's pretty hilarious that the engine in these cars only have about 540hp. It has to be possible to find a happy middle ground between how it was in 2025 and now. Give em some more fuel flow, turbo pressure, or compression, or some combo. And make it so they the speed delta is a bit lower.

There's always gonna be a bit of a speed delta though, and it's something the drivers have to get used to, especially Maxibon who's gonna race Nurburgring 24h soon

I'm watching Apple TV through my Amazon Prime TV service, in the US. For the first 2 races, each broadcast (practice, qualifying, race) had the F1 TV version and Sky Sports version side-by-side, for me to pick from. But for Japan, there was only the F1 TV version.

Prior to the race, there was a whole list of "Upcoming" programs, further down in the menu; including Sky Sports and all the in-car camera views. But once we got to qualifying, there was only one version to select from (the F1 TV broadcast), and the same with the race. I don't know why the Sky Sports version was available for the prior races, but not now.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the non-Sky Sports version the F1 TV crew? People keep calling it the "Apple TV" version, but Apple TV is just the service, they don't make any of the content, right?

Yes it's the F1 TV crew but I blame Apple as they have the choice on what they offer.
If the FIA doesn't fix this dumpster fire it won't matter to me because I'm out.

I had this problem too this weekend but it was self inflicted. To find Sky you have to navigate through the Formula 1 tab. If you click on F1 via the home page it only shows Apple coverage.

I’m actually using the AppleTV box too. That might make a difference in how you can find Sky. Good Luck.

I watched it from the beginning using apple with SkySports option but went to bed before the post race stuff. Next morning no SkySports only F1 talking idiots. When did Indians think they look cool with a pompadour? No SkySports options for Japan available next day. Sorry but this just rubs salt on a already painful wound.

Maybe the FIA can use Baseball cards in the wheel spokes to improve the engine sound. It worked on my bicycle when I was 6years old.

It's incredible how they somehow made them sound worse than the Indycars, even though they're both V6 turbos. Honestly an I3 engine would sound better

I just checked my AppleTV and Japan Sky coverage is still there. But I did have to scroll almost to the very bottom of page to find it under "F1 Past Races"

Your milage with Roku may vary. I've also noticed Apple playing around with how and where everything is displayed

You need a good amount of delta-V to affect a pass.
If you don't have enough, you get DRS trains, as was the norm under previous set of hybrid F1 regs. And all the drivers were complaning.
You give drivers tools to build up enough delta-V to pass - now start complaining that it's too much to handle!
