you'll need a lot of negative camber up front to combat the offset. rears are fine.

For an 18 9.5" ET35 up front - not really worried about outer clearance.
However for inner clearance will it NEED a spacer to clear the strut ? |

my experience comes from a non-forum friend running 9.0" et40 with 265's which comes REALLY close to the strut tower. your setup would be 1mm closer to the strut.

I need to ask a question about wheel fitment.
I have a chance for a set of track wheels for $300 for the set. They are coming off an 04 Roadster but are NOT the stock wheels. The size is the F=18/8.5 ET 38 and R=18/9.0 ET 38. I am currently running somewhat stock suspension (Bilsten Dampers, stock springs) with stock wheels, tire size are F=235/R40 18 (-2.5' camber) and R=265/R35 18 (-2.0' camber) with a 10mm spacer. No rubbing. I calculate that the new front wheels will will tighten up -8mm and the rears will stick out by +4mm. I am not a wheel gruru so I am asking the question. Can anyone foresee any issues? Has anyone tried putting in the front 19 x 9 ? Would an offset around 38
work ? I just need to know if it would fit.. If it rubs I can live with it. |

I was set on ordering 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 Apex ARC-8's, but the backs are not in stock. My tires in the meantime, are nearly gone.
Could I fit the planned 245/35-18 and 265/35-18 Super Sport rubber for the ARC-8's onto the stock wheels till the ARC-8's arrive?

Hey guys will I have any issues running 18x11 +45 in the rear? Based on the 10.5 +22 posts, looks like I'll be fine, fender wise. What I'm wondering though is if it will be rubbing on anything on the inside with that width and high offset. Thanks in advance!

Put this here too, since it's stickied
I'll be getting new wheels in the near future and I came across this site in my searches:
http://www.tuneruniversity.com/blog/...n-performance/ Read through parts 1 and 2 as well, but part 3 relates to width specifically. There's also a calculator he provides here that you can type in wheel and tire sizes you're thinking about and see if they'll fit. Don't know if anyone else has ran across this site, but it's super good info!
