1972 BMW 3.0 CSL coupe built by the Motorsports division of BMW. Arguably one of the first M cars. A total of 1,265 were built 1971-1976.
The 3.0 CSL was powered by an inline six of 3.5 liters and 206 hp. This example is painted in Taiga Green metallic.

You can't upload pictures onto the site like before. I have quite a few pictures from bimmerfest and I was going to start a new thread with bimmerfest pictures, but it's to hard to upload pictures onto the site now. The site keeps timing out and it doesn't upload the pictures 99.0% of the time 😒

Honda's first car was the S500, a tiny half-liter roadster with final drive by chain rather than driveshaft that was introduced in 1962 and sold only in Japan in limited numbers.
In 1964, an improved Honda sports car was introduced. The S600 was available as a roadster or -- in limited numbers -- as a coupe. The 606cc four gave 57 hp and had a redline of 9,500 rpm. The tires were tiny 5.20-10s. The pictured rare LHD coupe was sold in Canada in 1965. Edit: I googled the curb weight and was surprised that it was a bit under 1,600 pounds. I also found a good photo of a roadster (added.) The S600 was succeeded by a further improved S800 that used a conventional driveshaft. The great majority of all the Honda sports cars of the era were sold in the Japanese domestic market.

I was taking care of a couple of issues for one of my tenants yesterday when his landscaper arrived to mow the lawn. He's a young lad about 14 years old and this is his transportation setup. I'm sure he bought the e-bike with his earnings and I know he modified his trailer. He was just finishing trimming when I took this photo. It's refreshing to see an enterprising young man out earning some money instead of sitting home with his face in a video game or his phone.

Chevrolet came up with a Cobra competitor in the early 1960s, The Cheetah had a fiberglass body and a big V-8. But only a couple of dozen were built before the factory was destroyed in a fire.

This 1957 Ferrari 250GT Tour de France Berlinetta was a competition-oriented vehicle featuring Ferrari's 3-liter V-12 engine but making more horsepower than the road-oriented cars. Just 78 TdFs were built in 1956-59; they featured 260 horsepower. The TdFs still used drum brakes; discs were not introduced until the succeeding 250GT SWB model.
