Definitely an interesting race. Didn't look like the Mercedes PU was that OP'd here - if Bearman didn't crash, not sure if RUS or ANT jump to the podium places and PIA runs away with this race. In clean air, the W17 is capable of building a huge gap (Shanghai and now Suzuka) but when chasing, didn't look like the set up they had was capable of easily overtaking at least not at Suzuka, but should be something to look out for future races.

Ferrari is was just nowhere - they could not hold on to any lead and I think we're starting to see the limitations with this current iteration before any significant upgrades but at least they can race with each other.

McLaren (PIA) showed up and if they have their car issues sorted out with the Mercedes PU, we might have a Mercedes vs. McLaren for the season.

During the race they said the speed difference was 60 km/h.

But the speed difference was 92 km/h (!)

Merc PU look pretty OP to me. Merc and McLaren dominated the race. Alpine has no business in 6th, all due to the Merc PU.

Ferrari small turbo will haunt them until next season. They harvest too early on the straights.

The group he is talking about is the Grand Prix Drivers Association. Carlos Sainz(current director of GPDA) said this is exactly what they warned the FIA could happen. Drivers are worried about this happening on a street circuit, someone could lose their life.
