Hello from Baltimore / Washington DC. My 2004 Z4 3.0 and I are Z4um refugees. We have been bouncing around from site to site looking for somewhere to call home.

New to the group, having just bought the Z4 for my birthday. I had to do something special for 07-07-07 since that only happens every 1000 years. I probably won't make the next one. My Z4 3.0i is an Alpine White with the beige top, leather heated seats, and premium package. Home is in Chattanooga, TN. Although I have only had the car less than a month, I have already taken it on the Cherohala Skyway, one of Forbes Mag top 10 roads in America. Long sweeping curves rising to over 5600 foot elevation and no commercial traffic allowed and best of all just 75 miles from my driveway. My other ride is a 100th Anniversary Harley Davidson Ultra Classic motorcycle.

Hi Everyone,
New to this board. Looks like what I have been looking for. I see there are some familar names around here. It took me long enough to find this place. I am in the Chicago area and always looking to meet up with other Z / BMW owners. Carl |

Greetings everyone. I've been registered here for quite a while but this is my second post. Bimmerfest.com is my primary BMW forum. I recognize a lot of people from there, Z4um, and Bimmerforums. I took delivery of my Z4 M Coupe in October 2006, and I posted some recent photos here: http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthre...80#post1242880

Just had it delivered
Two weeks ago, when I was shopping for a car to replace the 350Z my son totaled, I had a difficult time choosing a new car, there are so many wonderful auto's available in the 40k range. I found an '06 Coupe in LA (I'm in NY), it was an exectuive car with 9100 miles. Montego Blue, sports, premium, step. I pretty knocked out by the car. Really haven't driven it but around the block, still am trying to get in registered. The shipping company scratched one of the wheels, getting it fixed tomorrow. So far this is a really nice car!

BMW Girl in Kansas
I just purchased my 2007 BMW Z4 3.0si two weeks ago to the day.
She's monetgo blue, with both the premium and sports package. She's beautiful, but it feels as if I'm still learning how to drive her - she's a completely different feel than my previous 2005 G35 Coupe. I've learned so much more form the forum than the manual - so thought I should at least say thanks |

The manual still has good pieces of info. But if you want to change up the car a bit, the forum is the place to go. Welcome aboard.

I'm just not a manual reader, unfortunatley they bore me - so I prefer reading posts or just calling my service advisor directly *j/k*
As for seeing things on the forum that I didn't find in the manual, nothing suprises me - I've been in the profession of online marketing since 1997 - besides that's what makes this place more exciting than the manual. I do miss my G - well certain things about it - but I'm enjoying the z4 as well. It does take a bit to get used to, but overall so far I'm happy. |
