I don't think that will happen with my stock mufflers though.. But its funny, I can easily make the exhaust pop on deceleration, or by tapping the throttle very lightly

Anyway, I'm gonna take her to the dyno this weekend, and if I hit near 440rwhp, I'll hold off on mods for a bit...

I'll check it out.
So far I'm getting more and more happy with the kit as the outside temps drop to 60-70*F in the evenings. Its really fun to just rev it up to 5000 on each shift and drive at partial throttle, because then you have a smooooth wave of great torque pushing you into the seat the whole time. The only thing I'm wishing for is a little more midrange and low-end torque, but eventually when I swap the wheels/seats/battery it'll be the same as dropping another passenger from the car. A big fat one =) also fr8dog said that the water/meth gives a huge boost in torque but I'm still looking for a tuner

What seats specifically are you considering? I need to get some very soon because my driving style on the windy commute is doing a number on my back with the stock seats, lol. Replacing the battery sounds like a good idea...what are the weight savings / is there a model you're considering? |

I'm using the odyssey pc680 that only weighs about 10lbs...about 40lbs lighter than stock and it's been great for the past 3 yrs

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Statu...#ht_4190wt_939 I'd get them in black leather with tan stitching, diamond pattern stitching on the inside areas. or recaro pole positon or some lightweight sparco/recaro/momo seat and have it re-uphostered in leather for battery, I'd go with the brand that makes the batteries for Braille, Deka. Maybe the 12lbs model

as you can see, I cut the lower grill at an angle, to match the bumper lines better. Next mod is to extend the plastic on both sides so they hide that little gap

I gotta borrow my friend's equipment first. How do you do this timed run?
1. start at a steady speed at 60mph in 3rd gear, and shift to 4th or 2. get a running start, like from 30mph in 2nd gear, and the timing will start once you're passing 60mph? I was also looking for a nice flat road where its safe to do this...found it, but its about 40 minutes away

I made my time during a running start, although i started in third gear.
Correct, timing starts as soon as i hit 60mph Sucks that its 40minutes away, although its nice to set a nice time and compare to supercars Its worth it. |

A 40 minute drive will give the car a good chance to warm up, makes your times more consistent and "real life".

the intercooler exposed like that makes this car look meeaann, i love that look i really do...
btw your s/c intake is rubbing your hood, i can see the rub mark up top :-) you can loosen this and move it down and it wont touch the hood at all. car looks awesome tbh.... the intercooler looks sick!!! i hand polished mine to a mirror finish.

Didn't pick anything different up. Decided to switch back to stock wheels. Was going to put all seasons on since I'll be driving year round again this year, but having a tough time deciding now since hankooks are so cheap (just over $500 for an oe sized set). Almost killed myself about 4 times getting caught in a blizzard with the conti's. (she was worth it tho hehe o:) )
