Hi! Just picked up this 2004 Z4 3.0, 6spd w/ sport and premium package. It's got a few little annoying issues but it drives amazingly and I couldn't be happier with it. I can't wait to get rid of the run flat tires though. I'm going to be driving this thing year round here in New England, after having reasonable daily drivers I decided I was over practicality. The Z4 supplements my '90 Miata that sees mainly autocross and track duty.

Finally had paint correction and ceramic coat done, and she's looking much more like her old self again! Added the Skyer spoiler as well, love it! Decided to de-badge as well, and I really like how clean it looks.

2007 BMW Z4 M3 Coupe Flossman Wide Body
New to this forum, my first Z4 arriving in the next day or two via enclosed transport. I went big. Picked up this car from Bridgestone as it was a promo car. I am pretty sure it was built for the Barrett Jackson Auction 2008 Sponsored by Brigdestone. Prepared/built by Canepa Cars. One of the lowest mile 2007 on the planet likely; 151 miles.
This is my first attempt in using forum tools for avatar, signature, etc. please excuse any hack job. See my public Album My plans are to take it to my local speed shop and make sure this thing will hold together on the track. Motor is completely stock. Proposed modifications; -MCS 2 way remote coil-overs -New mounts/bushings thru-out -Diffs Online 4:10's -RSD/CAE shifter -clutch masters -288/280 Schricks -Karbonius -Super Sprint or equivalent -Epic Tune -strut bar -etc All comments are welcome; obviously I just spent my wad. Hit me with your FS items I am interested in. |

New to the BMW World
Hell, I'm new to anything resembling a fun car. After 30 years of practical SUVs, circumstances finally reached a point where a toy car is possible. I've loved the Z3 & Z4 since they first showed up. My dad had 2-seaters around when I was a kid and the bug has always stayed with me. Last week I picked up a 2004 Z4 3.0i. It's a 6-speed manual, 143K miles and it's been repainted black after what was described to me as minor front end damage (an AutoCheck report didn't show an insurance claim). It looks great and runs smooth and strong. The pre-purchase inspection came up with rear shocks as the only major obvious need. After checking in with a couple of local German specialty auto shops on hourly rates I'll probably be beefing up my tool collection to be able to tackle the basic maintenance and repairs. I'm really excited and looking forward to making sure the car is up to several more years of top-down cruising.
(I tried to add photos with the Image tool but was rejected. Is Flickr supported here as a host for pics?) |

Hello all! New member here from Santa Ana California. Here is my 06' BMW Z4 Coupe. Weekend car, hence the trickle car charger cord to keep my battery healthy. Love my car and love this forum. Wish I could drive it more.
