Supercharger porn. SFW
Before anything else I went ahead and swapped the headers:
Next the bumper and manifold come off: Then the intercooler and oil cooler go on, intercooler anodized black: And the supercharger:

Yes, literally, I won't even let anyone help me because I want to know every nut and bolt like the back of my hand (if something happens at the track I need to know exactly what and how to get at it, what size it is ETC)
I actually basically finished the install today, pictures are lagging behind cuz I leave my camera there. Just waiting on the ecu to be able to run it, but I also still need to do some non essentials like run meth lines and secure the tank and get the first section of the exhaust redesigned. I also got the AFR in place and calibrated as well as coolant temp and oil pressure.

Helps to know how to weld a little bit, even if you totally suck at it. Rather then dril holes in my trunk to mount the tank I opted to double side tape a long steel bar and weld the brackets to it. Trust me, it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
Something most people wouldn't give a second though to, most just put the clamps so that the part worm mechanism is on top for easy access, but that looks crappy and very un OEM so I took the extra time to tighten them from the side or bottom.

Forgot to mention, no cutting of the bumper OR undertray. No real instructions come with the kit, just some out of date ones for an e46 that are horrible for the e46 let alone trying to use them for the z4, so I was not sure until yesterday. There is a little bit of cutting of the left and right under panels though. The nice thing which saved me work, and It was surely by coincidence, but the intercooler seals with the factory rubber seals on the undertray that normally sealed with the oil cooler, something that you want to do on any FI conversion car. For track people it's always best to re seal the radiator as those seals are almost always removed allowing air to flow around the sides. That's not going to be fun.

Finally got it started today. It's quick, that's for sure. It's was also 30 degrees out though.
Right now I have AA headers stock section one a BMS x pipe and stock mufflers, it is the absolute perfect sound. A low toned rasp (good kind) with a growl. Astonishing sound really. I almost dont want to take out the secondary cats because it will totally change the sound. But the call for power is necessary for me. I'll have some video in the next week or so but I have a lot going on the next few days to do it. The drivability is excellent. I love the way the ASA blower works with the clutch just idling the bypass isn't open making noise and obviously there's not that extra drag on the motor, it's also pretty quiet from the bypass below 3k rpm cruising.

It looks like you tapped the meth too far away from the intake manifold and it looks to be at a 90 degree angle. Am I seeing wrong or is this the case? Also, do they allow you to use meth at the track?

There is no such thing as too far, so long as it's after the intercooler. And yes they do a 50/50 mix is no problem and not immediately flammable. Also the 90 degree is no problem and standard in at least one place in most systems, at these flow rates it has no bearing.

I think he tapped it pretty much where it should be. It allows the meth to atomise more completely with the air in the intake path. It won't affect the cooling effect or the octane rating at all.
