Crank No Start, Multiple DTCs w/Disturbed Data Transmission
Howdy all!
I'm working on a 2003 Z4 and I'm wondering what to do with it. The following is from the report I produced today: View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com I'm thinking perhaps the ZKE: 30 is the cause for the IC: BE code. However, figuring out which one of these problems is causing the no start issue has me stumped ATM. I'm a MB person so I can understand most things with BMW but I have very little experience. I actually did a transmission service (ATF and filter/pan) on the X5 last week and man oh man. Those 3 pan bolts!!! You should have heard me raging away at DA engineers... My ML500 is just as bad and there's one thing on that truck that did it. I offered the engineer 2 awards from Colt if he'd meet me. Maybe checking the body control module connectors and wiring would be a start. The AIC: 40 is unknown to me but I'll look that one up after submitting this post. No idea what AIC is but I'll gladly learn about it. Any assistance is welcomed and praised! |

Get ISTAD which is BMW technical/technician software and a switchable cable as you have a pre facelift Z… it also has the TIS incorporated… then use Google to pull up posts on ISTAD on how to use it along with YouTube videos … and what TIS is in BMW speak…
Read the errors.. take photos/print copies of the errors… Delete them and then start the car to see what has remained valid. You are wasting your time money and energy if you don’t….

TYVM for the info!
I have a mini-pc with Star/Xentry/WIS for MB, and it has plenty of storage for the BMW stuff. |
