Repaint faded z4 m steering wheel
Hey do you guys know what paint I should use to paint the e85M steering wheel from fade?

As my plastic coating was scratching off I disassembled the trim parts...used rubbing alcohol to remove the remaining coating (down to bare plastic)...and then sprayed them with SEM Products 15243 Satin Black Color Coat. Looks great! Almost, but not quite OEM look.

Fixed it and it came out really nice with almost the same oem feel. Attached are before and after

Thanks it was kinda easy, all I did was pull all the trim off and sand them, then I went to autozone and bought a special plasti dip (https://www.autozone.com/paint-and-b...&gclsrc=aw.ds) make sure you allow the plasti dip to warm up by putting it in hot water and when you spray make sure it’s thick or else you’ll get bad orange peel (when you spray it thick it will look glossy but also smooth that’s how you know you are spraying right). That’s pretty much it sanding was the most annoying part lol. But I liked how it came out also don’t fret if you get orange peel just peel it off and start again!!
