BlueBus | No Bluetooth Connection * No Firmware Connect
Unit does not allow bluetooth to connection: OEM Nav screen flashes bluetooth connection option then disappears as an option and will not select or see anything and bluetooth connection option disappears.
Firmware upgrade: on both WIN and MAC; Bluebus firmware tool does not list unit to enable firmware upgrade. Multiple data cables used. Still no firmware connection. Anyone have similar issues and then found solutions? |

FWIW… ensure your cable is “data” capable… lots of cables are simply power/charging capable. That could be the issue with trying to “see” the unit for a firmware uodate. The computer/blubus unit won’t respond to a cable that is only capable of being used to charge.
You need to read the information on the cable packaging etc to differentiate the difference…. and lots of time the price is the same

Mine was plug and play without incident. Reach out to the BlueBus owner - he is also on here, but I don't recall his username. I've seen him be very helpful and resolve it for customers that have had issues like this.

I agree… had extensive discussion with him when trying to connect DSP version radio/amp system. It resulted in a software upgrade to resolve the issue.
However I suggest you ensure your software/firmware upgrade/connect issue isn’t a cable issue first.
