Looking for a picture of the motor/gears on the OEM nav unit
Does anyone have a pic of the electric motor that operates the OEM nav screen? I took mine apart in an attempt to fix it and I think I am missing one of the gears - more specifically the one that goes on the shaft of the motor. I'd like to figure out the diameter and the tooth count, so I can order a replacement.

The only issue I am running into is that the gear on the motor has a crack. This little gear is prone to failure and the guy that did the retrofit in the link you posted didn't check his unfortunately. I'm now trying to source a replacement gear. |
