Finally added aero to my Z4M Radster
The Voltex swan neck wing took 20 months to arrive! It's 1700mm wide.
The front splitter is custom-made by a local guy who does fantastic work: AMT Machine Shop. Check out the Z4M cage he built for Matt Walters (who is also on this forum). The front wing end plates are the same Voltex end plates from the rear wing, flipped upside down - trying to have as few shapes as possible for aesthetics, while still being functional. You can stand on the splitter in the braced areas. For the silver bolt and rivet heads I will paint those black so they are less visible. 8252-20230520-IMG_4772 Copy by Eamonn Glass, on Flickr 2186-20230520-IMG_4387 Copy by Eamonn Glass, on Flickr 1CWW_0930 by Eamonn Glass, on Flickr 696350447-IMG_9590-crop_Original Copy by Eamonn Glass, on Flickr 596350448-IMG_0831 Copy by Eamonn Glass, on Flickr 420230521-IMG_4960 by Eamonn Glass, on Flickr 320230521-IMG_9037 by Eamonn Glass, on Flickr |

Hey Bruce!
I definitely think the aero helped. Also just getting better behind the wheel. I’m convinced with some more seat time, the right tires and a few additional mods I can get close to 1:50 at The Ridge. I love that track. Cheers! |
