I have friends/family who would say my whole lifestyle revolves around BMWs, no shame in it, I love my BMWs I have a lot of experience with working on BMWs and have rebuilt well over a dozen various model BMWs throughout the years, I have a particular passion for Z4 coupes, and this is my 3rd non-M coupe. I bought this one in August of 2020 with 129k miles from IAAI, sold by an insurance company, total loss reason was theft/vandalism, it had baseball bat sized dents all over the body and busted glass/headlights. No flood, fire, frame, electrical, or collision damage. A same color parts Z4 was used to repair this one to keep the repair as OEM/original as possible with minimal paint/body work, the only exception to what was repainted are the quarter panels, they had to be sourced from a different car. Pictures of how it was bought are in the folder of all pics. My intention with this coupe was to make it a fun street car with more ‘raw drivers car’ feel that could be up for an occasional HPDE/AutoX. However, I ended up getting an M coupe not too long after I got this coupe fixed and no longer find myself driving it much anymore as I have enough BMWs to switch one out for every day of the week. This is a great drivers car, it is not perfect cosmetically, it is rebuilt (I like to iterate on that fact to sort out any "Clean Title Only I May Not Understand The Car Is Junk But As Long As The Carfax Says Clean I Will Buy" type of buyers). This is a well sorted example, it drives great and it feels great, the gearing with the 3.62 M diff paired with the N52 is much quicker and more torque on the low end. All poly bushings make everything louder and harsher for street driving. Not for the faint of heart looking for a stock weekend cruiser, it is however a perfect, windy road type of spirited driving machine. Last edited by danbmw1; 09-19-2022 at 03:16 PM.. I have purchased parts from Dan a few times. He is one super BMW guy. I would be excited to buy a car vetted by him. That is a special spec car for sure. Good luck Dan!

Really tempted. I have always wanted to experience a non-M coupe to reduce some of that razors edge feeling and rev out the stout N52 engine. Inevitably a bit of light track duty!
