Yeah headlight project going well ahead.. The parkers section of the oem lights is now the main led beam. the 2 seperate internal pieces are now one. Getting close to fiberglass the back section together. Looking to get some clear yellow shrink wrap to wrap the lens in. yeah the lights will be yellow.

Been a while, finally doing some work on it to prep the dash in. I also got a new race batt. The braille 11 was on the way out. sad really as they are pretty expensive. I opted for a LiFePO4 battery, due to the safety aspect of not wanting to overheat and catch on fire/punctured. weighs in at 3.2kgs, so lighter than my old Braille.. absolutely amazing battery. The form factor is larger than the Braille, but the weight is much less.. easy 2kgs saved. that's a few more big macs i can have.

Very cool, just a heads up, mine also came with carbon swan necks, but due to the height, found it unsuitable, too much lateral movement. which is why i made my own out of 9mm Alu.

Okay, just a heads up for those looking at a racedash.. Probably best to stick to the tried and true methods like Aim, as Racepak isn't really compatible with our stock ecu. works great if you have an aftermarket ecu, but not for stock. Probably should have known that as there are zero write ups for BMW with rackpak dash'es. The older ones do work, but your having to but sensor modules. Its an expensive exercise. There are options for OBD2, but I need canbus here.
