Was supposed to be BBQ Sausages with Potato Salad but the BF had lunch with her girls friends... So not really hungry (like I predicted).

Not a problem; Pizza last night, Pizza at lunch time, 2 pounder K-D for Dinner... I wonder (so does Tiggie) what tomorrow breaky will be

chassis always appreciate your uploads, especially when you make the food yourself.

That seems like an awfully "smooth" steak tartare. I enjoy mine more on the hand-minced side. How was it?

In Munich yes. For Oktoberfest, no. Saw lots of Lederhosen and Dirndln though! And two dueling accordion players in the dining hall.

Thanks. The tartare was nicely minced, not puréed. Look closely at the photo and the mincing is more apparent. The presentation was smoothed out, likely with a pastry ring and small spatula, giving a smoother/finer appearance. This was in Venice.

After looking at those sumptuous restaurant meals, I feel almost ashamed to post...

Baked thighs, fries and a Ceasar.

Just landed in Denver for a business trip. Grabbed an In-N-Out burger, fries and shake by the Hotel. My first one, and it was okay but doesn't match all the hype in my opinion. I am here all week, so I will have to try a few of the recommended nicer local spots.

You gotta go for the Double-Double, Animal-Style.

TBH, I agree with you. They're a little overrated.

I've got one by my house so I don't think it's that special.

I did the double double but missed the animal style part. Had to look that up. I may have to give it another go Animal-Style!

The caramelized onions, the extra pickle chips and the patties fried with the mustard.....I am intrigued again!

I wish! My extremely-constipated intestines laugh at Taco Bell, saying "is that all you've got?"

I had bangers and mash takeout from a nearby Irish pub for dinner last night.....
