Stock 224M 9" rims in the front?
I have 2 sets of stock Z4M wheels and want to run the 9" rear pair in the front and square setup. Right now rear tires are Michelin PSS 265/35/18 and I am planning to run the same rims and tires up front.
Car is sitting on H&R springs and Bilstein B6 shocks. It sits fairly low. At the moment from last alignment have -2.0 in the rear and -1.3 in the front (I asked for semi street/track). Planning to add shims to increase front camber to -2.5 and up to -3.0 or so. I am looking for better grip up front for track and ability to rotate tires/wheels. Also 9" rims will be sightly stronger than 8" fronts (had issues with bending the 8" ones, then had them straightened and then they bent again). Has anyone here done this? Any issues? Rubbing? Let me know |

You can run 265/35 square with the 224 rears, but you’ll need at least 3 degrees camber. You may need to play weigh height depending how slammed you are
