From what I have seen during the first winter test in Bahrain , "Mercedes felt back" !

•1-By the new '21 FIA regulations regarding the lower downforce , the floor of the W12 really s@cks
•2-The Mercedes low-rake isn't advantage anymore in combination with the new floor , and now the diffuser s@cks as well !
But Toto got the McLaren's diffuser in his hands just in time , because the McLaren is actually an old Orange Mercedes ..
•3-By the McLaren diffuser , HAM's twisty rear end seem to be fixed .
•4-The Mercedes Party-Mode and Magic-Mode are ( probably) banned , but that's not for sure because HAM runs still in warp-mode !
•5-One thing is for sure : DAS is banned , that's the only thing that the FIA did well !
But HAM and BOT will cry for help in every race : My tires are cold !

All this in combination with the new '21 HONDA PU and gearbox will give us a close battle in the front !
I hear it everywhere : Thank GOD , the boring races are over now !
And even more : Thank GOD for a driver like MAX , because what he showed us in the first 2 races was mind blowing !
The world can not wait for more battles from MAX vs HAM !
"That" is how F1 is supposed to be !!!!

Well guess the W12 is faster than I thought... Like bottas got the fastest lap even with his exhaust gas temp sensors causing issues and dropping power output. Maybe at this current moment the RB16B isn't the faster car but only time will tell.

I don't think there was anything amiss with his actual exhaust temp just a faulty sensor which caused his engineer to turn down the power then he turned it back up for the fastest lap.

The engineers cannot turn the engines up or down. It is against the rules. The driver may turn the engine down to preserve the engine in the case of coasting to the end but cannot turn the engine back up.

The faulty sensor caused the engine to go to a failsafe mode which ended when the sensor fault was cleared.

They can tell him what to do but they cannot adjust the car from the pits. It's against the sporting regulations.

The Warp Speed Generator in the W12 is called Sir Lewis Hamilton. The WXX is always fastest in the hands of Sir Lewis Hamilton. Even the year ROS was awarded the championship, Sir Lewis only lost due to catastrophic engine failure in the Malaysian GP in 2016.

Lets remember again what Paddy Lowe has said in that Merc ''deliberately'' went slower in 2014 such was their advantage. I believe that this is the case now even Helmut has said it's probably it with Mercs Star Wars (nasa) battery charging options available at will.

* I just read that Max did not get ALL of his updates for Algarve instead they all went on Checo's car and we know he needs another three races at least to get on top of the foibles of the 16B in 'his' hands,the pink Merc was a different animal.

Checo let me down regarding his start and race strategy .
But he runs already better than Gasly and Albon .
After only 3 races , that's not too bad ..

But I really wonder why Checo didn't took HAM out ?
The way Ocon did it with MAX in the 2018 Brazilian Grand Prix ...

It was just fine for the FIA ...So why not ?
