It's a no brainer for me. Haggle the dealer down a bit and get the one near you. The price of the higher mileage car will jump by approximately a $1,000 to ship it it to you. Best leave the modified cars alone and stay with the stocker. IMHO. Two years ago I purchased my '04 3.0 I with 50K miles for less than $11,000. Got rid of the new run flats, and changed out the rims for ones I liked better, got the sticky steering fixed, (fairly common in '03-'05) models. That added about $1,000. I get lots of compliments on my (NEW) BMW from people that really don't know what really new cars look like!!!
