Acquired 2007 Z4MR
After many months of searching, I was graciously tagged by a fellow member here on a FS listing that turned out to be local to me and the exact spec I was looking for at the right price. Patience is a virtue I guess. The prior owner had added the ZHP shift knob, Stromung mufflers, aFe intake, and wheels so nothing really to do to the car other than take good care of it.
4 days of paint correction (every metal panel on the car was wet-sanded from 1000 grit finishing at 6000), headlight restoration, Kenzo IGL ceramic coating including wheels, and interior treatments. The car is now immaculate.... just in time for Wisconsin winter storage

Very nice car, enjoy and take good care of this one, it's a great spec.
I also have an E92 M3 and Z4MR combo, also both 6MT. And I'm also running a catless Eisenmann Race setup on the E92, so our cars even sound similar

Your Z4MR is BEAUTIFUL....
....and has a brother from another mother (this is not a photo bomb of your post and your beautiful Z4MR, just a welcome from it's brother)

It's like you're staring into the depth of my soul and know me on every level s54 and s65 is an amazing combination to be sure. If you have Eisenmann race and catless I know we can be friends because I know you have good taste

I would tend to agree with you - of the new/modern M cars, the M2 is the obvious choice as the closest thing to a driver's car that they offer. My S4 makes a great get-around car but it isn't fun at all and I do appreciate a fun daily. My kids are 10 and 13 now so I don't really need anything for car seats and whatnot so an M2 has been on my radar for a new daily as well.

Nice! I'm late on the congrats! didn't know you picked this up after I tagged you. Nice job on the PC and CC detail. Just what it needs to bring out that Imola-ness. Keep us updated on all the PMs. How's it running so far?

It's been great although in storage for winter right now. You tagged me when my e92 was at a photoshoot, I picked the car up like basically the next day haha. Every time I tell people the story of the car I credit you as a large reason I got it since if you hadn't have tagged me , I would have never known it was for sale most likely !
