Gauge Face Replacement Group Meeting !!
I think there's a bunch of us getting the gauge face replacements. We should organize a group meeting and do it all in one shot !! More than happy to host this at my house, maybe throw a few burgers on the BBQ....... let me know what you guys think.

If I didn't join the group buy am I still invited
Also, if y'all are going to meet and potentially install at once maybe consider shipping them all together and save on costs?

That's the plan, when you guys see the quote and invoice you should only be charged 1/5 the shipping cost as I'm taking delivery of all of them. If there are any customs we'll settle up later.

Yeah......... I don't have a problem if you show up but are not in on the group by. I'll just need to know how many people we are talking about and limit the numbers to drivers only. No GF's or wives or pets thanks..........sorry.
I can set us up in my garage to do the swaps with a table and tools. I don't have the needle pulling tool but I should have a screw driver or two !! Some of you guys that have done this swap before can chime in on what we may need. |

As soon as we have the gauges in hand, we can see what works for everyone's schedules and make arrangements. It's coming very soon. I don't have any ideas on how long the process will take but i'm good most days and definitely weekends. I'm kind of thinking a late afternoon, even if it's during the weekdays. Pull the gauges and get going on them....... fire up the BBQ..... eat and finish working on the gauges as they progress....... or something like that.
How many cars are we doing ? How lonog does it take to pull the gauges and disassemble ? I haven't ever done a Z4M yet. |

So........ we are aiming for this Sunday at 4 pm...... assuming the weather cooperates. Drop me a PM to let me know if you are going to attend and I will PM back my address.
One thing. What we do here at my place is at your own risk. I'm not a shop and I don't provide warrantee!! Just a bunch of guys getting together to mess around with the instrument cluster. I believe that you will all be required to do your own work on your own stuff. Just that there will be lots of others around to assist and provide direction. Hopefully no FUBAR's will be had. I think I have some burgers kicking around...... so I can throw those on the BBQ. BYOB or whatever you drink...... Cheers |
