Any idea what's leaking under here? Its not from the struts. Driver side. Leaking from right under the corner of the bumper. Going to put a plastic container underneath to collect whatever is leaking to see the colouration.

If you have head light washers it could be those. I have that problem. Could be coolant too but that usually goes towards the middle.

No headlight washers but my washer fluid reservoir was bone dry when I pulled it out of storage. Pretty sure I filled it up to a higher level than it is now and the colouration is the same orangey colour of my washer fluid that I used.

You're positive you dont have them? You have the cap on the bumper that pops up. Not sure if the M came that way with out them or not.

Haha. Hey man I didn't know my coupe had the option until I accidentally sprayed them. Freaked me out.

Thanks, good call. Will report back when I figured out precisely where the leak is coming from. At least washer fluid is the least important car fluid especially on a convertible only used on sunny days with no bugs around

Topped up the washer fluid last night and here's how much leaked overnight.

Yeah, I had to hide the tropical-flavored rum coolers from my cat too.

Remove the bumper cover.
Remove the headlight washers and hoses up to and including the tee.
Plug the remaining hose.
Take the caps off the washers and attach them to the bumper cover.
Problem solved.

Why not look for the leak and repair it so not to lose the headlight washer functionality?

There's headlight washer functionality?
At least down here in SoCal, the only function they serve is to break.

That's weird. My E70 X5 has headlight washers that work just fine, even after multiple Canadian winters. My Z4 does not however so I can't comment on them. But maybe the washer design on the Z4 is different and more problem prone somehow.

The headlight washer/windshield washer system in this car is pointless in my opinion. I removed the whole system completely

I never understood this. It just sprays fluid on them right? With no wiping or anything? Don' see how that would clean anything except maybe dust. And I think it would make a freaking mess everywhere.

Never thought they would work for crap.

Thats exactly their function; remove dust/sand/mud (or even snow).
As far as testing their function (in development/typeconformitychecks), there's even an official norm that specifies a certain mixture based on birchsawdust that has to be applied to the lights that the washerjets have to get off for a certain percentage/area etc etc.
The jets are required when headlights go over a certain emitted output of light (lumen).

Wiping systems on headlights haven't been used since mid 90's or so as they smear the dirt doing more harm than good.
A washerjet doesn't have this effect and are therefore safer.

Kinda like dating a girl, until you find out she has a set of doo-dads between her legs?

All I can imagine is shooting washer fluid on my bug covered windshield - which only seems to make it worse!
