Vanos work
Hi Guys
I'm looking to have some preventative work done on the vanos. I've used both bimmersport and RMP in the GTA. Anyone have any luck having this work done at a shop in the GTA. Seems like very finicky work and I want to be sure the shop can handle it. |

I have a small leak coming from Vanos myself, I bought all the seals and bolts so will be taking mine apart later this week. Fingers crossed!

I know lots of people know these cars and engines but even the know shops have sometimes been less than stellar. Never had a problem with Rocco. |

I talked to Mark yesterday and although he can do it, he says better to go to someone with a LOT of experience with the VANOS. He said he's had limited time playing with it.

I think they are more into Audis. They are close to work. Good shop and have some nice Audi sport cars at the back.

I wouldn't wait for signs. I think it's a good idea to do a preventative maintenance before it's gets to the signs. I will be doing both Vanos and rod bearings one at a time.

Rmp won't get back to meet via online booking, email, Facebook or phone. Vacation perhaps?
Anyone have any other good recommendations for a suspension repair I need. I'm in Mississauga and prefer somewhere not too far away. |

How does one know when their vanos needs maintenance? More importantly how do you know ahead of time to be preventative before its too late and what happens if you miss it?
Think I know the answer to the last part but probably should have gotten confirmation BEFORE I got an S54 oops |

Too late now but White Eagle Motors handle plenty of BMWs, last time I went for some fluid swaps seems to show they are fairly competent
