Bilstein B12 Pro Kit struts/shocks/springs....

For those that have installed:

Fitment?
Any issues w/alignment after install?
Improved handling?

The recent HR failures posted are frightful.

My Bilstein B12 Struts/Shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit Springs that lower front 3/4 in and rear 3/8 in arrived....OEM upper/lower strut/shock /spring pads arrived and upper strut OEM guide supports, and OEM front control arm bushings and the upgrade BMW ZHP front control arms.

Install coordinated w/Insp II very soon....updates to follow.

I installed the B12 kit on my last car - a 2011 335is and it was a big improvement over OEM - certainly great value for money. The third best mod after stiffer rear subframe bushings (cheap) and LSD (expensive).

Awesome - agreed the Bilstein / Eibach Pro-Kit Spring package was only $889 from Turner Motorsport....I purchased all other items noted in my post from Turner as well; looking forward to upgrading the suspension on a 10 model yr old, 62K mile Red Roadster.

I have the B12 kit on my MZ4 coupe, I'm happy with it. Very harsh over sharp bumps but otherwise seems to handle great. Rear sits a bit higher than the front

Bilstein B12 Pro-Kit & Eibach Pro-Kit Springs Installed....

Replaced OEM front control arms with BMW ZHP performance control arms, OEM front control arm bushings, all new spring pads, strut support guides and bearings....front lowered 3/4 inch & rear 3/8 inch....4 wheel alignment....performed by Eastside Bavarian - Eric the Tech's acumen, detail, thoroughness and precision is awesome....

First impressions....the visual change is freaking awesome....the seat time reveals it feels like it's on rails....freaking awesome.

I am looking to copy you, I see you didn't change your rear shock mounts to RE?
Any possibility to mail me a copy of your order or cart? Any other bushings, parts needed to replace?
Thank you for your help.

FYI I got a set of lightly used TCK RSM that I'm letting go for cheap.

Thanks Racer.
Same items unbundled.
With H&R sways already installed,
I started with Eibach springs and Koni Sports.
After 20K miles, I swapped onto Bilstein B8s.
Frankly, the Konis are far better when high speed cruising.
But they aren't as good in town. On the deteriorating streets of Seattle or at low speed, the Konis don't recover quickly. Bilsteins are much more compliant on city streets and are still good at high speed.
Whatever you get, if lowering springs, I would suggest you get a pair of 15 mm rear spring pads from Turner to replace the 5 mm ones originally equipped on most non M Z4s.
The rear end will sit a bit higher and I think has a better look.

I also got the rogue RSMs. So I can drop out the rear shocks without ripping out the trunk liner. - worth the cost, but only if you can deal with the tight space under the tower.

How’s the ground clearance? And any details on alignment and what wheel/tire combos you’ve run with these? Ideally would like to be able to track the M few times with a 255 square...

Car looks fantastic btw!

Really enjoy the Bilstein B12's and Eibach Pro-Kit Springs; lowered the front apps 3/4 in and rear apps 1/2 in; corners flat; Seattle streets create quite a jolt when hitting the bad stuff; lowering this amount did not require any additional specialty suspension components and was computer 4 wheel aligned to factory specs; my rims are OZ Ultraleggeras 8 in front and 9 in rear with factory size Continental DWS tires; a 25 mm rear spacer (or was it 20 mm?) was necessary to accommodate the OZ's - no rubbing in any conditions.

If memory serves, the MZ4 front LCA is already the same part as the E46 ZHP LCA. Part number may be different but the arms are identical.

Thanks, seems like between Eibach and H&R, Eibach has a more conservative drop (which is more appealing to me). Seems like you don’t have aggressive rake or reverse rake and the car sits pretty even too.
