Need help on tinting M roadster
Hey guys,
So I just called my tint shop in New Jersey. Tropics in Union. I was told they are the best and the only place to take to get your windows tinted in the tri state area. Here are my questions: Whats a good % to tint the windows? I want it to look deep and dark, but I don't want every cop hassling me like crazy. Did anyone with a roadster tint the ragtop window? I am highly considering it and think it would be awesome. Any pictures would be GREATLY appreciated and help me make my decision. Doesn't have to be a roadster, just want to see the different types of tints people are getting. Also, he is charging me 100 for the front windows and 180 for all 3. How is that for pricing? Last time I had a car tinted was like 9 years ago so I don't remember what the prices are like. Thanks in advance!!! So excited! |

JMO, but the Roady doesn't need tints.
Top down & windows up looks a little strange to me. ...BTW, all my other cars have been tinted.

I'm also considering having my windows tinted but its only gonna cost me around $100. That's for all three windows. Also, when I have the top down, thewindows are never up unless I'm on the phone. Having the windows up with the top down completely defeats the purpose of having the top down. Not sure if this helps but the guy that I am takingy car to makes the tint look factory, but that's only if your up for a long road-trip.

Damn, those prices are pretty expensive. It's about $150 for 5 windows around here.. but this IS NYC though, i would assume theres a lot of competition...

way too far from jersey otherwise i'd be interested. if we were talking about supercharging the car then i'd make the trip because the drive back would be the best ever. anyway, my car is black sapphire so I think 35% on the windows and 20% in the back would look real nice. no one has any pics of their tinted cars?!?! |
