Z4M Baseline Dyno
I went to the dyno yesterday to get a baseline of the car. Supercharger is going in today! I was hoping for closer to 300whp but 288whp is not bad at all. My current setup is in my sig. Hope y'all enjoy!

I never got a stock dyno. So I'm not totally sure.

Thanks for sharing. I also found this thread for comparison:
http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1060789 Jay had these mods and got 297 WHP: - ESS Tune - RPI Air scoop - BMC Air Filter - Carbon filter delete - OEM M3 CSL Headers (no cats) - Custom Catless Mid pipe with H pipe - Stock x pipe - Stock exhaust - 4.10 Rear Differential - 19" DPE SP16 wheels Then he got it tuned again at TTFS and increased to 316 WHP. |

I don't mean to whore your thread, but I thought it'd be a good place to throw up some comparisons. I found another Z4M dyno on my local tuner's website.
Before (Drop in Filter, Scoops, Rear Exhaust, STOCK DME): 297 hp 240 ft/lb After Custom BrenTuning DynoTune: 319 hp 250 ft/lb Seems like you should be seeing way more WHP after a good tune, which you'll get sorted out after your supercharger install. |

Just hit a stopping point. Missing the long spacer for the supercharger bracket. Ugh.

I agree 288 whp is lower than I would have expected, however, you can't tell if something is wrong without a stock baseline. Stock cars usually dyno around 265-275 whp on Dynojets. There are theories out there that OBD2 readiness costs a bit of power, but I haven't seen them substantiated.
This is a good pre-supercharger baseline, because all that really matters is the % gained with the supercharger. I'm guessing this same dyno will read 380-390 whp once everything is sorted.

Got the kinks sorted with the S/C setup? Any dyno planned yet?
