Has anyone deleted or modified the CDV?
Have been looking at the forum, it appears its a highly recommended mod but want to check Aussies' experiences as well before doing it.

I'm a complete Z4 newbie, bought mine in December - just did it myself this weekend and very easily bled the assembly. Would highly recommend it to you as well. I had big issues prior with having a CDV and me thinking I had no idea how to drive this BMW stick shift. PM me and I would be more than happy to discuss with you further. Not from Australia, but Texas!

I had my local Indie shop remove the CDV and I think the clutch does feel slightly more predicable. I didn't notice a dramatic difference but the clutch does feel great now.
Well done to Taylorguy74 for doing it yourself, I have bled many motorcycle clutch systems but I chickened out of doing the Zed! Ha |
